Scope

This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Soel Source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 procedures.

Service needed: Audio and visual services at the Washington Hilton for the Marine Corps Ball.

See Document "JnA REDACTED" for detail.

The government intends to award on a Sole Source basis to: Dupont Hotel Project Owner, LLC, 1919 Connecticut AVE NW Washington, District of Columbia, 20009, United States.

The circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

The basis for this Sole Source Award Intent is that the hotel is the only entity through which the required audio-visual services for the Marine Corps Ball at the designated Hilton venue can be procured in accordance with applicable contracting and payment requirements.

The venue's exclusive arrangement with its licensed audio-visual service provider necessitates that the services be secured through the hotel.

Interested vendors: vendors interested in obtaining the same capability may respond via email to receive Marine Corps System Command's point of contact.

In our response, please indicate whether you can provide the required services at the specified location.

Responses by no later than 26 October, 2026, 4:00 PM EST.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
