The North River WRRF was originally constructed in 1986, was constructed above the Hudson River with a majority of the structure supported by steel caissons driven into the river soil. Numerous structural elements within the North River WRRF have shown signs of aging and significant degradation. The facility requires repair and upgrades to improve its compliance with DEP's standard operating procedures and to continue to provide reliable wastewater treatment operations in accordance with wastewater treatment regulations. Contract NR-107 will implement structural improvements to the North River WRRF. Contract NR-107 comprises four main project elements: steel caisson protection, sludge barge loading dock fender replacement, underdeck repair and improvements, and ice breaker reconstruction. How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
