  • Set-aside None (open competition)

Scope

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 21, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Omnicell, Inc., for a base year, because Omnicell is sole manufacturer, developer and exclusive provider of Omnicell products and support services for the Omnicell equipment in the United States; and is the only approved and authorized vendor to service Omnicell equipment in place at VAPIHCS.

We believe there are no authorized third parties that can provide scope repair services and OEM parts that can satisfy this requirement.

A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached.

If you believe that your company is capable and authorized to perform these services in accordance with the SOW, please provide your information and capability along with an authorization letter from Omnicell by responding to [email protected] no later than November 5, 2026, by 10 A.M.

PST.

The applicable NAICS Code is 811210 and the size standard is $34 Million.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.

Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
