Scope
SACOG is inviting van leasing companies to submit required qualifications to be placed on the Authorized Vanpool Vendor list and participate in the Vanpool Start‑Up Subsidy Program. The Vanpool Start-Up Subsidy Program provides monthly subsidies to support the formation of new vanpools in the Sacramento region. Vendors that meet the minimum qualifications may enter into an agreement with SACOG to promote and offer the Vanpool Start‑Up Subsidy to new vanpools operating in the region. Authorized Vanpool Vendors will contract directly with SACOG for participation in the subsidy program. This Request for Qualifications will be open continuously, subject to the availability of program funds. Execution of an Authorized Vanpool Vendor Agreement does not guarantee participation of vanpool participants or funding to the vanpool vendor. Questions regarding the Vanpool Start‑Up Subsidy Program or this RFQ may be submitted at any time to: Victoria Cacciatore, Program Manager [email protected] (916) 340‑6214

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
