DEPT OF DEFENSE / DEPT OF THE AIR FORCE AP
- Status Closes in 9 days
- Amount Amount not listed
- Set-aside None (open competition)
Scope
The 35th Contracting Squadron, Misawa Air Base, Japan has conducted market research and intends to solicit, negotiate and award a single source firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order under the authority of RFO 12.102(a) to a small business: Lavish Life Technologies LLC UEI CR8FCJQP2747.
The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561612, with a small business size of $29,000,000.00.
This purchase order will be a follow-on contract to contract FA520525P0071 to purchase Construction Surveillance Technician Services needed to complete iFortress facility and its follow-on accreditation.
The services being acquired will be critical to ensuring this construction project comply with the requirements defined in the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, "Physical and Technical Security Standards for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF)", and the Department of Defense (DoD) 5105.21-M-Volumes 1,2,3, "Sensitive Compartmented Information Administrative Security Manual", dated October 2012.
This is a single source award due to the ability to leverage existing Construction Surveillance Technicians already deployed to Misawa under the current contract.
Awarding a follow-on contract will cut mobilization costs and prevent further project delays.
Based on market research it takes 30 days or more for the mobilization of new staff after sourcing and onboarding employee.
Construction Surveillance Technicians on the current contract are already familiar with the project, and this will also eliminate the learning curve of bringing in, badging and onboarding new personnel to complete the project.
Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to the POCs listed below no later than 10/31/2026 at 10:00...

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
