Website Modernization and Content Management System
Bay Area Air Quality Management District - Enterprise Technology Solutions San Francisco, CA
- Status Closes in 30 days
- Amount Amount not listed
- Set-aside None (open competition)
Scope
The Bay Area Air Quality Management District ("the Air District") seeks information and conceptual ideas from content management system vendors, implementation and migration service firms, systems integrators, and other interested parties who have knowledge of platforms and approaches for modernizing a large, multilingual, public-agency website. The information gathered from this Request for Information ("RFI") will be used as a guide to understand available solutions and identify vendors who can provide software and services for the Air District's Website Modernization program. The information may also influence how a future Request for Quotes or Qualifications ("RFQ") or Request for Proposals ("RFP") is structured. Specifically, the Air District wants to understand platform and hosting options, implementation approaches, realistic timing, total cost of ownership, and considerations that may inform a future competitive procurement. The Air District's requirements are still being finalized. This RFI is issued for planning and information-gathering purposes only. A respondent need not comment nor offer every capability described in this RFI to respond; partial responses addressing a respondent's area of expertise are welcome.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
