Clay County Board of County Commissioners (County) is seeking proposals for the lease of the southern portion of County-owned property located at 3245 Bear Run Blvd., Orange Park, FL 32065. The structure located on this portion of the property served for many years as a Tax Collector site, providing valuable services to the community, but is now vacant. The County intends to retain ownership of the property and is seeking a long-term tenant willing to make improvements to the existing structure and activate the site with a use that complements and enhances the surrounding business corridor while providing exemplary service to the public. The County’s goals with this solicitation include increasing local business activity, improving the built environment, supporting local entrepreneurs, and activating an underutilized County-owned property. The subject property represents a valuable opportunity for area businesses, a viable means of stimulating local investment, and a tangible opportunity to create jobs in the heart of Clay County. Bidders shall submit all inquiries regarding this RFB in the "Question and Answer" tab of the RFB. See "Inquiries/Questions" in the "Instructions to Bidders" below for more information. How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
