Montgomery County Board of Elections Voting Equipment Transportation

Montgomery County OH - Board of Elections Dayton, OH

  • Status Closes in 83 days
  • Amount Amount not listed
  • Set-aside None (open competition)

Scope

The Montgomery County Board of Elections is requesting proposals from qualified logistics and moving companies to assist with the deployment and retrieval of voting equipment for the May and November Elections of 2027 and 2028 with the option to extend the contract for one additional two-year term for years 2029 and 2030. We are looking for a reliable partner to transport equipment from our headquarters to 141 polling locations across Montgomery County. Our facility is located in downtown Dayton, OH, and is equipped with a two-bay loading dock to facilitate efficient loading and unloading. Because the equipment includes heavy metal SAFE carts (approx. 800 lbs each and on caster wheels) and wooden boxes (approx. 400 lbs each and on caster wheels), we highly encourage prospective bidders to view the equipment in person to ensure accurate quoting and logistical planning. Please review the attached scope of work, equipment dimensions, and submission requirements. All potential proposers must attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting that is listed in the official RFP on the OpenGov website. Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to potentially working with you. Sincerely, Jeff Rezabek, Director Montgomery County Board of Elections

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
