ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS – NASHVILLE DISTRICT’S NOTICE OF INTENT TO INCLUDE BRAND NAME SPECIFICATION IN A FUTURE CONTRACT FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ONE (1) 4-TON AND ONE (1) 6-TON JANUS LOW PRESSURE CARBON DIOXIDE REFRIGERATED STORAGE UNITS – SOLICITATION W912P526QA*** The U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District will be soliciting a sole source quote for a Single Award Firm Fixed-Price supply contract to The Hiller Companies LLC for the supply and delivery of one (1) 4-Ton Janus Fire Systems® Low Pressure Carbon Dioxide Refrigerated Storage Units with the options to purchase one (1) additional 6-ton tank and two (2) additional 4-ton tanks.
The Four-Ton Low Pressure Carbon Dioxide Storage Tank shall be designed to work within the existing footprint of the previous 3.75-ton Ansul tank.
The new storage tank must be fitted to work and not compromise the integrity of the fire suppression system such as the inlet values, pressure switches and controls, outlet valves, & voltages.
Dale Hollow Power Plant staff will remove the existing 3.75-Ton Ansul Low Pressure Carbon Dioxide Refrigerated Storage Unit, disconnect piping, and prepare the area for the new footprint of the tank. (Optional) Cordell Hull Power Plant staff will remove the existing 6-Ton Ansul Low Pressure Carbon Dioxide Refrigerated Storage Unit, disconnect piping, and prepare the area for the new footprint of the tank.
