Scope

The City of Pasadena is seeking proposals from qualified Consultants to respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP) to design a demonstration project utilizing quick-build materials on El Molino Avenue between Atchison Street and Bonita Drive for approximately 3.8 miles. The demonstration project will help to facilitate community engagement and evaluate different treatments to be considered for the permanent Greenway features. El Molino Avenue was selected for the demonstration project because it is a key corridor in the City’s Bicycle Transportation Action Plan with limited existing bike infrastructure, connects several important destinations and activity centers, and crosses diverse neighborhoods with differing community concerns and perspectives. El Molino Avenue crosses the I 210 freeway and was also considered because there are no freeway on-and-off ramps, which can make north–south travel more challenging for bicyclists and pedestrians. How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
