  • Set-aside None (open competition)

Scope

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of RFO FAR 6.130-1 for Armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services with Bradley Technologies, Inc. (1700 Rockville Pike, STE 200, Rockville, MD 20852) for up to seven (7) months, November 01, 2026, through May 31, 2027, to allow time to solicit and award the follow-on contract, as well as to provide adequate time for the 120-day transition.

This action will result in a modification to extend the ordering period of the existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract to allow placement of a task order to continue critical PSO services throughout the IRS complex in Austin, TX.

Task orders(s) will only be issued under this contract for the necessary length of time required, but not to exceed seven (7) months.

As such, this extension will allow time to complete the solicitation and award as well as provide an adequate transition period to the new effort for this requirement.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
