Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood is issuing a PRE?SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) firm fixed price construction contract to Renovate Women’s Center to Conference Center. This consists of the interior demolition and construction to reconfigure the facility to better suit the needs of the anticipated user with administrative and conference room requirements. The work shall be located at Building 36000 located at the intersection of Wratten Drive and Shoemaker Lane Fort Hood, Texas. This acquisition is 100% Certified Women Owned Small Business Set Aside under NAICS 236220 (Size Standard $45.0 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The purpose of this project is to Renovate the Women’s Center to a Conference Center. This consists of the interior demolition and construction to reconfigure the facility to better suit the needs of the anticipated user with administrative and conference room requirements. The work shall be located at Building 36000 located at the intersection of Wratten Drive and Shoemaker Lane Fort Hood, Texas. Also included is miscellaneous site work to support the facility and meet code requirements. The contractor shall provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to complete this scope of work. Except as provided elsewhere in this contract, all work shall comply with applicable State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions.
