Pre-solicitation Notice of Intent to Sole Source Pre-Solicitation Notice of intent to award a sole source contract. This is not a solicitation.
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:Â Â Â THOMAS SCIENTIFIC 1654 HIGH HILL RD SWEDESBORO, NJ 08085 UEI: CN1DHDM1HDZ5 This is not a solicitation.
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to purchase the AlteCap Swift Automated Decapper System, along with all necessary components and cassettes for full operational capability and installation from Thomas Scientific, to be installed at VAMC Boston, MA.
Thomas Scientific, is the only company who can provide the system and installation that meets all the needs of VAMC Boston to maintain VA research compliance.
Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities SAM.gov.
The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Â The NAICSÂ 334516.
The size standard is 1000 employees.
