Scope

Description The U.S.

Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) invites its partners in private industry, academia, and other government agencies to leverage our premier, world-class Test and Evaluation (T&E) infrastructure.

ATEC's national test ranges, which are national assets, are available for use by external organizations to support your internal Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) activities.

To support Army transformation, ATEC is streamlining access for industry partners to rapidly leverage these one-of-a-kind facilities and expertise, speeding capability maturation and delivery outside of traditional T&E programs and channels.

This initiative provides a unique opportunity for our partners to access and leverage assets, capabilities, and environments that are not available anywhere else in the world, enabling comprehensive and realistic experimentation, research, and testing of your systems and technologies.

Please see https://atec.army.mil/home/rfts/ for more information and inquiries.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
