What this contract is for

This is a pre-solicitation notice in accordance with (IAW) Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul (RFO) 5.101 and 12.201-1(c)(2). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. The Government intends to solicit this requirement directly from suppliers IAW RFO 12.201-1(c)(2) for firm-fixed price supply contract to perform replacement services of the Breathing Air Compressor including the Carbon Monoxide (CO) Sensor at Bldg 1587 for 374th Maintenance Squadron (374 MXS), Yokota Air Base, Japan. Description: The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, personnel, supervision, management, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and any other items or services necessary to perform replacement of the Breathing Air Compressor including the CO Sensor at Bldg. 1587 in Yokota AB. In accordance with commercial practice and local standards in the country of Japan. Delivery Location: Yokota Air Base, Tokyo, Japan Note: 1.) All offerors are required to have a Japanese CAGE Code (J-type NCAGE). This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. The successful offeror must have valid licenses to meet the requirement in the country of Japan. 2.) Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
