What this contract is for
This synopsis notice is being posted to satisfy the requirements of DFARS PGA 206.302-1. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Program Office, PMA-201, Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price Task Order off of a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA ) to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC), Archbald Pennsylvania.The tasking for this order is for the procurement of ADU-892A/E Test Set Adapters [LI1] to include: test set adapters, operational support, cartridges, support equipment, logistics and engineering support, test support, repairs, and training for a Foreign Military Sales Partner. Contract Award is anticipated for Q1 of 2027. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302?1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Lockheed Martin is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the LGTR and as such is the only company that has the requisite knowledge, production tooling, facilities and technical data necessary to meet this requirement. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible, interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice.
