What this contract is for
(Updated) AMENDMENT 1: To provide answers to industry questions received and to clairify there are no on-site laundry facilities located on Fort Bliss. That was a typo on the SAM.gov description only, not listed anywhere in the actual solicitation or PWS. - An updated PWS has also been provided that removed two comment tags that were blocking some verbiage, Attachment(s) 7 and 8 were updated with locations, and the Pricing Sheet has been reuploaded in an unlocked format with "Per Sq FT" for draperies instead of Per Item. No other changes to the solicitation have been made. - Attached the solicitation form (SF 30). This is a non personal service contract to provide installation-level Laundry and Dry-Cleaning (L&DC) services, with pick-up and delivery services, in support of Government-authorized customers at Fort Bliss, Texas. This requirement will be executed as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option periods. Individual task orders will be issued for defined service quantities within established minimum and maximum ordering thresholds. How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
