Through Taks Orders this contract supports over 25% of the MDE/S sustainment services across the DHA enterprise. This IDIQ, (through task order), supports all aspects of medical device maintenance services, and are successfully completed using vetted technical support capabilities for all military treatment facilities. Failure to approve this increase to the requested limit will imminently and severely disrupt the military's ability to meet its critical MDE/S sustainment goals, directly impacting national defense. The increase in ceiling limit is requested due to a significant and unforeseen surges in mission requirements hinged realignment efforts that brought in new customers, combined with a reduction in military and civilian Biomedical Technical work force. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $30,000,000. This presolicitation notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement.
