What this contract is for
In accordance with RFO FAR 5.101, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to Antenna Products Corporation. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of RFO FAR 12.102(a) to Antenna Products Corporation, 101 SE 25th Avenue, Mineral Wells, TX 76067. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) – only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Brand-specific Antenna Matching Units (Mfgr Part #: 1000-1128-401, NSN: 5895-01-261-5521) are the only product capable of fulfilling the Government’s need. These specific units are the only units compatible with the existing infrastructure that supports Coast Guard Remote Communications Facilities. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than (NLT) 1:00PM ET on Monday, 27 July 2026. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to the Contract Specialist, Avery Cole, Email: [email protected], and the Contracting Officer, Brian Eichelberger, Email: [email protected] with the Notice ID number referenced in the subject line.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
