This request is for four (4) prefabricated/assembled equipment shelters configured for the use of ambient air quality monitoring. These equipment shelters will be replacing old existing shelters located at four (4) different locations throughout Pinellas County. The shelters will be manufactured with the components and complete wiring for a 100 AMP 120/240V service that is ready to be connected per Duke energy requirements. This electric work includes attached meter box and riser for an above ground service connection, disconnect, and appropriate subpanel with circuits as described, all compliant with the National Electric Code (NEC) and Duke Energy requirements. The shelter’s electrical work includes all wiring and components for five (5) separate 20amp circuits for fixed interior and exterior lighting, interior and exterior electrical receptacles, and a self-contained air conditioning/ heating unit appropriately sized and installed. The shelter will also be insulated for energy efficiency and have finished interior floors, walls and ceiling. The interior will also have equipment benches engineered to handle 400 lbs. of equipment, then configured, finished and installed. The shelter will also have guard rails on the roof with roof access, and stairs. Capable ports through the shelter walls and ceiling for sample probes and attached exterior bracketing that will enable the installation and operation of air monitoring equipment.
