Description of Solicitation for WiFi Services This solicitation seeks a provider for dedicated internet connectivity to support Guest WiFi at the Washington DC VAMC.

The contract requires the vendor to perform all on-site corrective (unplanned) maintenance and repair of equipment, strictly following the manufacturer s manual.

Remediation actions for any product alerts or recalls issued for the equipment must be handled promptly.

Unlimited corrective services are expected for all equipment or systems under a full coverage agreement with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

The contract covers all necessary parts, materials, tools, labor including travel for maintenance.

OEM-certified parts and service are mandatory, and any use of refurbished parts must receive prior written approval from Facilities Management (FMS).

Additionally, the vendor must provide software updates and patching according to manufacturer specifications, at the discretion of FMS.

Official solicitation and documents

The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
