The Ybor City Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) seeks qualified contractors to provide storage and installation services for street sign improvements within the Ybor City 1 and 2 CRA districts. The City of Tampa will be sourcing all materials and fabricating the signs prior to storage and installation. This project is essential to ensure a systematic approach to managing street signage, enhancing the visual quality and navigational ease of the area. The selected firm will be responsible for the following tasks: 1) OBJECTIVES - Storage Coordination: Work closely with City Mobility’s sign shop to establish efficient pick-up logistics prior to the storage of street signs. This will ensure that all signs are properly stored and managed in compliance with city procedures. - Installation: Install the new street signs throughout the Ybor City 1 and 2 CRA districts, ensuring proper placement and compliance with relevant regulations. 2) TASKS (2 TOTAL) Task 1: Storage Coordination and Logistics • Coordinate with City Mobility’s sign shop to manage the logistics of pick-up and storage of existing and new signage effectively. • Ensure that all signage is stored in a manner that protects its condition until installation. Task 2: Installation • Develop and execute an installation plan outlining the steps and procedures for the effective placement of new street signs. • Conduct a final inspection post-installation to ensure all signs are correctly placed and meet quality standards.
