The County Commissioners of Charles County are requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to perform construction services on the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Oak Ridge Park East Stream Restoration project. The primary purpose of this project is to install a stormwater detention facility and provide effective stream restoration to approximately 1,400 LF of an actively eroding channel unnamed tributary to Gilbert Run through the installation of in-stream and bank stabilization structures. The project also includes the stabilization of approximately 120 LF of an eroding outfall channel. The project site is located within Oak Ridge Park, 13675 Oaks Road, Hughesville, in Charles County, Maryland. The work includes all improvements or modifications shown, detailed, or specified on the approved Construction Plans, including all materials and work necessary to complete the construction of the project in accordance with Charles County Government’s Department of Planning and Growth Management Standards & Specifications for Construction , Charles County Details Manual , County Ordinances, and all other Local, State and Federal regulations.
