The purpose of this RFI announcement is to conduct market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified offerors interested and capable of providing the “Cardiac Output Monitoring System” described below.

Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area of expertise and experience to fulfill the requirement.

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, 808 Schreider Street, Fort Detrick, MD 21702, is seeking to understand the capabilities of potential qualified Contractors who can provide the supplies and/or services for the following: Minimum Essential Characteristics: Cardiac Monitoring Platform The United States Army Institute of Surgical Research (USAISR) seeks a device that can monitor cardiac output (CO) and derive hemodynamic parameters in a hospital setting.

The USAISR requires a CO monitoring device that utilizes a Swan-Ganz catheter to monitor hemodynamic parameters.

The device’s proprietary coded output must be compatible with USAISR’s unique internal data logging systems.

This is required to maintain historic and current protocol data continuity and workflow.
