DISCLAIMER This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and market research purposes only.

It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future.

This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.

The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice.

BACKGROUND The U.S.

Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) is responsible for the development, sustainment, and modernization of strategic and long-range precision weapon systems, including the Trident II (D5/D5LE/D5LE2) Strategic Weapons System (SWS), the Navy’s Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) hypersonic capability, and the Navy’s Sea-Launched Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N).

SSP depends on a resilient, secure, and transparent industrial base spanning prime contractors and deep sub-tier suppliers.

Overlapping sustainment and modernization efforts, single/sole-source concentrations, integration timelines, and fragmented datasets elevate schedule and performance risk.

The Strategic Defense Industrial Base (SDIB) initiative addresses these issues by delivering data-driven analysis and workflows that create immediate visibility from program to part, enable proactive remediation, and align stakeholders on prioritized investments.

The solution must integrate Government-furnished information with commercial and proprietary data sources while providing configurable workflo...

Official solicitation and documents

The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
