The U.S.

Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract for an organizational membership with the National Hydropower Association Inc. (NHA).

Because NHA is the sole national association dedicated exclusively to representing the interests of the U.S. hydropower industry, they are the only entity that can provide these specific regulatory, technical, and networking resources.

USACE requires an agency/organizational membership to the National Hydropower Association (NHA) to support its mission as the largest operator of hydroelectric power plants in the United States.

National Hydropower Association is dedicated exclusively to preserving and expanding clean, renewable, affordable hydropower and marine energy.

Period of Performance: One year.

A solicitation will not be posted.

However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 21 September 2026.

Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement.

Responses received will be evaluated.

However, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

If no responses are received, the U.S.

Army Corps of Engineers will proceed with awarding a Firm Fixed contract to the National Hydropower Association Inc.

Official solicitation and documents

The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
