DEPT OF DEFENSE / DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Location

NAICS

Scope
Federal

This agency proposes to ADD multiple NSNs from FSC 2925 and 6150 to an existing long-term strategic/sole source contract.

A total of nine (9) National Stock Numbers (NSNs) is currently targeted for this contract effort.

The NSNs and associated Part Numbers are listed in the attachment.

These items have been identified as sole source.

The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to Unison at CAGE 59501.

The proposed items are intended for addition to existing sole source contract SPE4A5-20-D- 0025 under award to Unison, CAGE 59501 (IAW FAR 6.302-1).

It is the Government's intent to use a letter solicitation format to the sole source Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM); therefore, if any non-OEM source is interested in any of the NSNs, please notify the Contracting Officer prior to the synopsis closing date.

Surplus dealers are also invited to respond to this synopsis.

Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified.

In addition, respondents should identify the quantity available and price.

A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein.

The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government.

Official solicitation and documents

The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.

Oppward is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SAM.gov or any government agency. This page is a plain-English summary of public record data; the linked source above is the authoritative listing.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
