Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division Northeast (HCD-NE), on behalf of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to CDW GOVERNMENT LLC (Cage: 1KH72).
The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”.
This contract covers the purchase and installation of a Cisco Nexus switch required to operate the research data storage system.
CDW GOVERNMENT LLC (Cage: 1KH72) is the only reseller in the area to provide the hardware and installation.
This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations.
Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.
Phone calls will not be accepted.
A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.

All information submitted should support the offeror’s capability to provide the training required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
