DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT The NIH requires a specialized multi-material additive manufacturing system capable of producing highly realistic anatomical models for research, scientific investigation, medical modeling, training, device development, and related activities.

The required system is the Stratasys J850 Digital Anatomy™ 3D Printer, a multi-material PolyJet additive manufacturing platform specifically designed for the production of realistic anatomical models.

The system is capable of producing complex anatomical structures incorporating varying visual, physical, and biomechanical characteristics intended to simulate selected properties of human tissue and bone.
