Title of Project: Omnicell One Cell Cabinet Components 1.Background: The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) requires the procurement of one (1) Omnicell One?Cell Cabinet associated components to support the activation of the 6E post?surgical unit.

This acquisition is necessary to enhance medication management efficiency, reduce manual errors, and align with the VA’s ongoing transition toward the Autonomous Pharmacy model.

The system integrates fully with existing Omnicell infrastructure currently deployed at University Drive, HJ Heinz, and CBOC locations.

This requirement consists of two separate procurement channels: (1) ECAT procurement (PO 646-B62007) of the primary Omnicell 1-Cell Cabinet (MED-FRM-501), and (2) local NC04 contracting procurement of components including drawers, Flexlock, WIN10 package, external return bin, shelf, and installation.

These items together complete the fully functional dispensing system required for the 6E activation post-surgical unit.

3.Scope: The contractor shall provide installation services for the ECAT-procured Omnicell 1-Cell Cabinet (MED-FRM-501), and all components itemized below.

The contractor responsibilities include uncrating, staging, installation, physical integration, hardware setup, and verification of operational readiness.

Pittsburgh VA Biomedical Engineering will perform safety checks, asset entry, and system acceptance after installation.

Must support VISTA/BCMA workflows, Pharmacy data flows, and existing network interface standards.
