The U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Environmental Laboratory (EL), in coordination with the USACE Reach-back Operations Center (UROC), seeks to procure nine (9) Brand Name Sci-Aps X-555 handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzers for geochemical analysis.
These analyzers are needed by expeditionary teams for rapid, on-site environmental assessments and baseline surveys in remote areas, reducing the time and costs associated with sample transport and off-site laboratory analysis.
The Sci-Aps X-555 Geo-Chem Analyzer is required with the following specifications: The contractor shall provide nine (9) Sci-Aps X-555 Geo-Chem Analyzers.
Each analyzer shall be configured to analyze the following elements: Light Rare Earth Elements (REEs): La, Ce, Pr, Nd, and Sm.
Heavy REEs: Eu and Gd.
Heavy REE Pathfinder: Y.
Other Elements: Mg, Al, Si, P, S, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Rb, Sr, Zr, Nb, Mo, Ta, W, Hg, Pb, Bi, Ag, Cd, Sn, Sb, Cs, and Ba.
Each system shall include: Two (2) Li-ion batteries.
One (1) battery charger.
