GENERAL DESCRIPTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with RFO part 12.

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.

Notice of Acquisition Strategy Change: This requirement was originally synopsized / intended as a sole-source procurement; however, following market research and Government review, the acquisition strategy has been updated to a Full and Open Competition to maximize competitive opportunities.

This requirement is for a solution to engineer, furnish, install, test, and maintain a commercial wireless internet (Wi-Fi) service for the unaccompanied housing dormitories and designated common areas at Columbus Air Force Base (CAFB), MS.

The objective is to deliver reliable, high-speed Internet access to all residents at no cost to them, in compliance with all Department of the Air Force policies.

The purpose of this service is to provide Dorm Wireless Internet to 3-day rooms, 94 dorm rooms, and 3 outdoor pavilions postured on one campus at Columbus Air Force Base (AFB).

The contractor shall provide installation and all necessary equipment, to include up to 73 modems, up to two WI-FI repeaters and up to seven 24 port switches as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) for a period of five years one (1) Base Year of 12 months and four (4) 12-month option years.
