This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.1 Pre-solicitation Notice for Commercial Simplified Acquisition in accordance with FAR 12.201-1(c)(2).

In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul FAR 12.201-1(c)(2), the Government may solicit quotations directly from suppliers for this acquisition at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.

The Government intends to solicit this requirement directly from vendors IAW RFO FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) for firm-fixed price contract.

Although the intent is to use FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) for a portion of the procurements, there will still be solicitations posted on SAM.gov.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS NOR QUOTATIONS A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED Anticipated award date is around September 22, 2026.

Agency: Department of the Interior, US Wildland Fire Service (USWFS)/ Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Office: BLM/USWFS Arizona Set-aside: 100% Small Business.

The estimated value of this acquisition will be at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT).

Description of the requirement: Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, equipment, labor, supplies, and materials not provided by the Government but required to treat approximately 1,675 acres of BLM land within the BLM Arizona Strip District¿s area of responsibility.

The Contractor shall be responsible for the service and repair of equipment as necessary to continuously maintain satisfactory work progress.

This is a post-fire treatment effort.
