Solicitation Amendment #1 The purpose of this amendment is to resolve discrepancies in the original solicitation notice and SOW regarding the air compressor specifications, and to formally clarify the submission requirements.
The Government is amending the solicitation to provide responses to vendor technical inquiries and to ensure all potential offerors are proposing against the correct technical parameters.
Summary of Changes: Technical Specification Clarification: Based on technical inquiries and baseline verification, the following clarifications and corrections are incorporated into the SOW: Power Configuration: The required power configuration is confirmed as 220V AC, 3-Phase, 60 Hz (superseding the single-phase reference).
Fill Time Performance: The compressor is not required to complete both the minimum charge rate and the 10-minute cylinder fill time simultaneously.
The 10-minute fill time is a design guideline and is not a hard, mandatory performance requirement.
Operating Pressure: Operating pressure parameters are defined as what is required to fill the specified 3,000 PSI cylinders; there are no separate minimum or maximum limits beyond this requirement.
Air Quality Standard: The compressor system will NOT be used for breathing air.
An integrated breathing-air purification system is not required.
Solicitation Numbering: All quotations and correspondence must reference notice number 52000QR260027522 Instructions to Offerors: All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
If a quotation has already been submitted and no response or revised quotation is received from the bidder on this amendment, the original quotation will be deemed final and binding and evaluated as-is.

Official solicitation and documents
The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
