This is a market survey for a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery / Requirements Type Contract for the acquisition of Upset Prevention and Recovery Training, more commonly known as Unusual Attitude Training (FAA21800091) for Aircraft Certification Flight Test Pilots (FTP) employed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The required training services include Upset Prevention and Recovery Training for FAA Aircraft Certification Test Pilots (FTP) employed by the FAA.

The contractor is to provide Ground School and Flight Training to FAA Aircraft Certification Flight Test Pilots for Upset Prevention and Recovery Training.

Student quotas for these courses will be assigned by the Aircraft Certification Service – Enterprise Operations Division, AIR-900.

The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey.

Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor’s expense.

At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined.

The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged business that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA’s 8(a) Program.

The purpose of this survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses that are interested in and capable of providing the Upset Prevention and Recovery Training.
