What this contract is for

The new White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) Information Systems Facility (ISF) requires installation of the VERTIV NetSure DC Power System, which serves as the foundational DC power infrastructure for the facility’s mission?critical information systems. Please see the attached for full description. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is solely to gather preliminary information and explore potential solutions, capabilities, and approaches available in the market. This RFI is not a solicitation, request for proposal, or commitment to purchase. No contract or agreement will result directly from the submission of information in response to this request. All information provided by respondents will be used for planning and evaluation purposes only. Responses may be used to refine requirements, assess market readiness, and inform future procurement strategies. Submission of a response does not create any obligation on the part of the requesting organization, nor does it provide any advantage or preference in any subsequent procurement process. Respondents are responsible for all costs associated with preparing and submitting their information. Any proprietary or confidential information should be clearly identified as such. The requesting organization reserves the right to share non-confidential information internally for evaluation purposes.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
