This Sources Sought announcement is for market research purposes only and should not be construed as a solicitation.
There is no entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges that arise as a result of the submission of information in response to this request for information (RFI).
The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified proprietary information.
Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations.
The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Savannah District is considering the solicitation and subsequent award of an Optimized Remediation Contract (ORC) at Shaw Air Force Base (AFB), South Carolina (SC).
USACE desires early interaction with industry and is requesting the review of the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS).
This requirement is for environmental remediation activities (NAICS 562910 Environmental Remediation), at Robins AFB, GA and Moody AFB, GA.
The draft PWS defines the scope of environmental services necessary to conduct site remediation under the ORC.
The range of activities includes investigation, design, construction of remedial systems, operation and maintenance of established remedies, optimization at applicable sites, and achievement of site-specific objectives.
The Contractor shall undertake Environmental Remediation activities to achieve Performance Objectives (POs) at twenty-six (26) Installation Restoration Program (IRP) sites and one (1) Military Munitions Response Program sites (non-unexploded ordinances sites).

Official solicitation and documents
The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.
Oppward is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SAM.gov or any government agency. This page is a plain-English summary of public record data; the linked source above is the authoritative listing.
How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
