What this contract is for
This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE to modify a contract with CAREDX, INC. The proposed contract action is to perform specialized Allomap and Allosure genetic blood testing on veteran patients who have undergone heart transplant surgery. CAREDX INC. will provide Allomap and Allosure test to avoid invasive biopsies and determine transplant stability. This is an intent to sole source notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.3, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This announcement constitutes the only notice of intent to sole source and synopsis of proposed action. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, intends to modify a sole-source contract under the authority of this non-competitive acquisition as implemented by 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.103-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to CAREDX INC. located at 3260 Bayshore Blvd, Brisbane, CA 94005. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest with a full description how all elements in the attached statement of work will be fulfilled by emailing [email protected] no later than 10:00 AM PDT on 7/20/26. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
