A Sources Sought Notice (ACFT26OCT2018) was posted to FedBizOpps on 26 Oct 2018 for ACFT equipment. The Sources Sought Notice closed on 09 Nov 2018 and provided ACC-WRN with the market's capabilities of providing ACFT equipment to the United States Government (USG). The market research determined that there is capacity limitations with manufacturing components. Subcontracting opportunities are expected. The following companies participated in the market survey and chose to be identified: - Inventory Management Solutions, LLC - Beaverfit - Crane Fitness - Enterprise Furniture Consultants - Quality Specialty Products - Eleiko - American Barbell - Wright Equipment - Hi-Temp - Sorinex - ADS, Inc - Pierce Distribution Services - Life Fitness As a result, this requirement will be 100% set-aside to small business. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to include three ordering periods. The RFP is expected to be released on FedBizOpps in December 2018 and close 30 days after date of issuance. The Government is expecting to award a single, all or none contract no later than March 2019. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
