What this contract is for
The purpose of this notice is to publicly synopsize a requirement for VW sustainment and support. NGA intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Transformational Security. Transformational Security is the only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent / Synopsis is not a request for proposals and no solicitation will be available. Market research has determined that these items are only available from the original source. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is sole at the discretion of the Government. The requirement is for the continuation and sustainment of the NGA VW system. VW is a uniquely customized solution based on a proprietary platform of hardware and software. This contract will include a base year plus four option years starting 11 August 2026 and running until 10 August 2031. The anticipated award date is 05 August 2026.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
