NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

This is a notice of intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 41 USC 1901, set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

173rd Mission Support Contracting intends to award a sole source contract to Frontier Precision, Inc. (CAGE 1MNQ1) for the Site Works Machine Control.

The Government intends to issue a sole source solicitation resulting in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract.

This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive proposals; however in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation that shall be considered by the agency.

Responses may be submitted via email to: [email protected].

Please include Notice ID # W50S8Z26QA039.

The Government is not obligated to award, and will not pay for, any information received from potential sources because of this notice of intent.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Official solicitation and documents

The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.

Oppward is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SAM.gov or any government agency. This page is a plain-English summary of public record data; the linked source above is the authoritative listing.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
