This is a request for information (RFI) only.

The EPA makes no guarantee that a solicitation or award will result from this RFI.

The purpose of this RFI is for market research purposes only.

EPA is seeking information from vendors that can sell a benchtop NMR capable of measuring the hydrogen content of petroleum products in accordance with ASTM D7171.

In addition the instrument shall have the option of adding additional probes as described below.

Specifications: • Probes for the following shall be included: o Phosphorus o Carbon o Hydrogen o Fluorine o Lithium o Tin o Boron o Xenon o Sodium o Vanadium o Aluminum o Bromine o Silicon o Selenium o Nitrogen • Have a temperature range of 25 – 60 degrees Celsius • Instrument shall not require the use of a cryogen PLEASE IDENTIFY THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN IN YOUR RESPONSE.

This Sources Sought is seeking authorized American products that meets or exceeds the above specifications.

We encourage all vendors (large or small, USA or foreign made) that can offer products that meet the above requirements to reply with any technical specifications and/or material.

Pricing is not required at this time.

Responses to this RFI are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract of any nature.

The Government will not award a contract based on this RFI.

The Government reserves the right to determine how it should proceed as a result of this notice.

Responding parties should not anticipate Government feedback on their respective submissions.
