The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is accepting proposals for pest control and extermination services at the Representational Facility located at 5830 Memphis St, New Orleans, LA 70124, as detailed in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).

The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation, equipment, supervision, and personnel required to perform comprehensive pest management services for both above and below ground infestations.

Covered pests include, but are not limited to, cockroaches, ants, spiders, termites, mice, rats, and other rodents.

Services must be delivered in strict accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as USCG, EPA, and OSHA standards, ensuring the health and safety of federal employees, contractors, residents, and visitors.

Recurring services shall consist of quarterly general pest control and semiannual termite inspection and treatment, with all work scheduled between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays) to minimize disruption to facility operations.

The contractor must coordinate all activities with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), CWO Mike Ackiss ([email protected]), and provide at least 48 hours’ notice prior to any treatment.

Unscheduled service calls must be responded to within one calendar day after notification, and the scope of each service call will be limited to one distinct type of service and applicable locations.

The contractor is responsible for reporting evidence of pests or conditions conducive to infestation not covered in the contract to the COR as soon as noticed.
