Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled "Solicitation for Information of Planning Purpose," this announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes for an ultra-high pressure liquid chromatography system with an attached specialized mass spectrometer in order to analyze a blend of high-resolution-based determination of unknown compounds as well as quantification capabilities of chemical, biochemical, and biological samples in support of the United States Naval Academy Chemistry Department.

This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement.

It is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response.

The Government plans to procure these products as Commercial Products as defined in FAR 2.101.

Place of Performance (Site Location): The delivery/performance of this requirement will be at the U.S.

Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD 21402.

NAICS Code: The NAICS Code for this requirement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, and the Size Standard is 1000 (# of employees).

Required Delivery Date: Delivery is NLT 30 September 2026 The proposed procurement is a single commercial Firm, Fixed-Price type contract.
