Background: The U.S.
Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), requires Post-warranty Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services for a PerkinElmer NexION 5000 ICPMS system.
The PerkinElmer NexION 5000 ICPMS system is essential for analysis of heavy metals in support of toxicological studies at NCTR.

System Components: PerkinElmer NexION 5000 ICPMS, Serial Number: 816N1091701S Preventive Maintenance and Repair Service Minimum Performance Requirements: The Contractor shall provide one (1) scheduled on-site planned preventive maintenance visit (including parts) per year.
The Contractor shall provide unlimited On-Site Corrective Maintenance/Repairs within 3 business days of call for service where problems cannot be resolved remotely after 2 business days.
All Preventive Maintenance and repairs shall be performed on-site by formally trained and certified technicians/engineers, following Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications, manuals, and service bulletins, using OEM replacement parts, components, subassemblies, etc.
The service plan shall include access to OEM technical developments, repair procedure bulletins, and unlimited software, firmware, and application updates.
