The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price commercial supplies purchase order for the furnishing, customization, packaging, and delivery of new food service uniforms for USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71).
The requirement includes approximately 34,500 total uniform items consisting primarily of T-shirts, chef coats, and cargo/khaki pants in multiple sizes, colors, and configurations.
Required customization includes application of specified logos, text, embroidery, and/or printing in accordance with the solicitation and associated artwork requirements.
All items must be new, suitable for food service operations, and conform to the required size, color, fabric, sleeve length, workmanship, and artwork/text placement requirements.
Delivery is required within 60 days after award.
This is a commercial product/supplies acquisition with incidental customization.
Prospective offerors should be capable of providing apparel/uniform items of similar scope, including quality control and on-time delivery of customized textile products.
Response Instructions: Interested vendors shall submit quotations in accordance with the solicitation.
Quotations shall include administrative information, technical capability to provide conforming supplies, relevant past performance, and pricing for all required CLINs.
Questions must be submitted in writing to the solicitation point of contact by the date specified in the solicitation.
Vendors are advised that the Government may make award without exchanges and should submit their best terms in the initial quotation.
Official solicitation and documents
The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.
Oppward is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SAM.gov or any government agency. This page is a plain-English summary of public record data; the linked source above is the authoritative listing.
How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
