THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT This notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) section 5.201 to notify the public of a proposed contract action.

The North American Identification Classification System (NAICS) code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance .

The proposed contract action is for a modification to an exisiting contract under which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302(c)(1).

The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled “3304(a)(1) sole source specifications, which reads in part, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” The U.S Agency of Global Marketing (USAGM) intends to modify contract no.

951700-21-F-0193 awarded to Tower Facilities Management, LLC (Tower FM) for replacement, repair and maintnenance of our Uninterupted Power Supply (UPS) systems manufactured by General Electric, due to an urgent requirement for UPS replancement and repair.
