The project consists of design, permitting, and construction of the Zone 4 Phase A Landfill Gas (LFG) Collection and Control System (LFGCCS) header installation. Work to include trenching, installation of new HDPE header piping, associated valves and appurtenances, tie-ins to existing LFG infrastructure, backfilling, testing, and restoration of disturbed areas. Contractors should account for site constraints including traffic control, construction sequence, coordination with landfill operations, subcontractor scheduling, and materials procurement. Completed work will provide the owner with improvements to the LFGCCS, including the fully installed Zone 4 Phase A header and associated connections to the existing LFG infrastructure, with the requirement that the contractor avoid damage to any existing infrastructure not designated for demolition and removal.
