The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO), hereby provides notice of intent to solicit services to install honeycomb waveguides and data converters in an executive office suite conference room located in Arlington, VA.

This requirement includes the procurement and installation of honeycomb waveguides and data conversion for CAT6 lines traversing the shield line that must be compliant with government security standards.

The anticipated period of performance will be 11 weeks.

An award will be made using FAR Part 12 procedures.

It is anticipated that an award will be made before November 2026.

This is a pre-solicitation notice and does not constitute a request for quote and the government is not seeking pricing here.

This procurement is expected to be below the simplified acquisition threshold, and three sources will be solicited directly (No RFQ will be published on GPE) in accordance with RFO 12.201-1(c)(2).

However, interested parties can request the RFQ during the active period of this notice and any quote received responsive to the RFQ will be considered.

Official solicitation and documents

The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
