What this contract is for

This Special Notice is to advise interested members of the Training and Readiness Accelerator II (TReX II), as well as other interested members within the U.S. technology base, that a Request for Solutions (RFS) has been issued by Advanced Technology International (ATI) for EXP-26-07-001 Double Probe Consolidated Cargo Replenishment at Sea (CONSOL) Prototype Project. The purpose of the Training and Readiness Accelerator II (TReX II) is to spur innovative development, demonstration, and expedited delivery of prototypes to increase Warfighter readiness via modeling, simulation, education/training, experimental validation, and military readiness focused projects. A consortium has been established to develop prototypes directly relevant to enhancing the mission effectiveness of military personnel and the supporting platforms, systems, components, or materials proposed to be acquired or developed by the Department of Defense (DOD), or to improvement of platforms, systems, components, or materials in use by the Armed Forces. This Request for Solutions (RFS) is issued under the Training and Readiness Accelerator II (TReX II) OTA in support of the Director of the Department of Defense (DoD). Please note that any projects awarded in response to the RFS will include the following statement relative to the potential for follow-on production: "In accordance with 10.U.S.C. 4022(f), and upon a determination that the prototype project for this transaction has been successfully completed, this competitively awarded prototype OTA may result in the award of a follow-on production contract or non-procurement transaction without the use of competitive procedures." Oppward is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SAM.gov or any government agency. This page is a plain-English summary of public record data; the linked source above is the authoritative listing.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
